Bell Falla and Associates Welcomes Adam Porterfield, Senior
Vice President, Pharmaceutical Marketing Research
Norwalk,
CT, September 12, 2011:
The
marketing research and consulting firm Bell, Falla and Associates, LLC is
pleased to announce that Adam Porterfield, PsyD, MBA, has joined the firm as
Senior Vice President.
Before joining Bell, Falla and
Associates, Adam spent eight years with TVG, MR&C as Associate Vice
President, and, more recently, was a Qualitative Research Consultant at Ipsos
Understanding Unlimited, conducting qualitative research and facilitating
strategic workshops in the healthcare sector. Adam is a clinical psychologist
by training, and has leveraged his formal education in psychology and business to
yield new insights beyond what is discovered using traditional qualitative
marketing research approaches. He is a seasoned strategic healthcare marketing
consultant and moderator with over thirteen years of experience conducting
marketing research with healthcare professionals and patients in support of
treatments for psychiatric and CNS disorders, oncology, and type 2 diabetes,
among many others.
Adam’s research experience spans the entire product
lifecycle, from buying process and new product evaluations to message and
communication testing for both new and in-line products. He has conducted
research domestically as well as in Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China,
France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Spain, Sweden,
Venezuela, and the UK.
Prior to beginning his career as
a marketing research consultant, Adam conducted organizational effectiveness
analyses for a number of mid- to large-size corporations. In addition, he was the Director of
Admissions for ContinuCare, the largest behavioral health care corporation in
Florida. Adam holds a BS in Psychology
from Tufts University. He has also
earned a PsyD and MS in Clinical Psychology and an MBA in Health and Medical
Services Administration from Widener University.
